Sunday, September 20: Notre Dame Hockey Blue and Gold Scrimmage. A free preseason scrimmage at Compton Family Ice Arena at 7 p.m., with an autograph session after.
Sundays: Mishawaka Market. Free to browse, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Ironworks Plaza. Produce, baked goods, crafts and local vendors.
Saturday, September 26: Free Fishing Day. Indiana residents can fish without a license all day, statewide.
Saturday, September 26: Children's Museum of South Bend 5th Birthday Bash. A free celebration with activities and cupcakes, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Saturday, September 26: Free Bicycle Safety Rodeo and Bike Repairs. Hands-on safety rodeo, a youth repair clinic and a bike raffle at Ironworks Plaza in Mishawaka, 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Wednesday, September 30: Conn Selmer Jazz Orchestra featuring Sean Jones. A free concert at the Lerner Theatre in Elkhart, 7:30 p.m., with the trumpeter joined by Frownin' Mawgs and the Elkhart High School Jazz Ensemble.
Friday, October 9: Free Movie: The Addams Family. Goshen Theater's monthly free screening, 7 p.m. Concessions for purchase.
