Contest Rules

These general rules apply to giveaways run by Michiana On Tap. Each giveaway page may list additional rules, dates, prize details and sponsor information, which take precedence where they differ.

Eligibility

Open to legal residents of Indiana and Michigan who are 18 years or older at the time of entry, unless a giveaway states otherwise. Giveaways involving alcohol, casinos or 21+ venues are limited to entrants 21 and older. Employees of Michiana On Tap, the giveaway sponsor, and their immediate families are not eligible.

How to enter

No purchase necessary. Entries are collected through our promotions platform, operated by Second Street, using the entry link on each giveaway page. One entry per person unless the giveaway states that daily entries are allowed. Entries must be received by the deadline shown on the giveaway page. Duplicate, automated or fraudulent entries will be disqualified.

Giveaways run by our radio partners

Some giveaways featured on the site are run by local radio stations or other partners. Those contests are governed by the rules published on the partner's own contest page, and entries are handled by the partner, not by Michiana On Tap.

Winner selection and notification

Winners are drawn at random from eligible entries after the deadline, unless the giveaway describes a different method. Winners are notified by email or phone using the contact details provided. If a winner does not respond within 72 hours, or is found ineligible, an alternate may be selected.

Prizes

Prizes are as described on the giveaway page. No cash substitution, transfer or exchange, except that we may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the original becomes unavailable. Approximate retail values are provided by the sponsor. Winners are responsible for any taxes. Tickets are subject to the venue's terms, and event dates may change.

Publicity

By entering, winners agree that we may announce their first name, last initial and city on the site, in our newsletter and on social media, unless prohibited by law.

General

We may cancel or modify a giveaway if it cannot run as planned for reasons beyond our control. Our decisions are final. Giveaways are not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Facebook, Instagram or any other social platform.
