A disco diva enters protective custody at a convent and transforms the community with music and dance in this musical comedy.

When disco diva Deloris Van Cartier witnesses a murder, she enters protective custody in an unlikely location: a convent. Disguised as a nun, she finds herself at odds with both the rigid convent lifestyle and the uptight Mother Superior. Using her unique disco moves and singing talent, Deloris brings an unexpected spark to the traditional community.
